Design of the Proctor Network™
The Proctor Network™ is designed to help BPI Certified individuals across the country become BPI Proctors and to enable them to proctor BPI certification exams (online tests and field tests) according to their location, schedule, and pricing as independent contractors.
Approved BPI Proctors can purchase BPI certification tests on the Proctor Network™ at our discounted proctor pricing. This enables independent BPI Proctors to set their own prices with their clients. Refresh Homes serves as the BPI Affiliate for all tests ordered through the Proctor Network™.
Approved BPI Proctors can choose to have their clients order your proctoring services through our main site ($250 per online test, $400 per field test) and pay instantly with a credit card. We pay the credit card fees and the BPI fees, and we pay you after you submit the testing documents to BPI and us.
Approved BPI Proctors and BPI-Designees can be listed on our site so that potential clients can find your services or they can choose to remain private.
Who is Eligible?
Any BPI Certified individual may become a BPI Proctor if they meet BPI's requirements which include submitting a signed Application and the BPI Code of Ethics (COE) and participating in Orientation and Proctor Evaluation sessions (webinar for proctors of online tests; webinar and a Field Orientation and Evaluation with a BPI-Designee for proctors of field tests). BPI Proctors for online tests only are not required to be BPI Certified. BPI Proctors for field tests must score 80% or better on their online tests and 90% or better on their field tests.
In order to participate in the Proctor Network™, new and existing BPI Proctors must list Refresh Homes as one of their BPI Affiliates on their Application and the BPI Code of Ethics (COE) (submitted to BPI directly; please send us a copy) and submit a Proctor Network™ Application and Fee to Refresh Homes. If you are an existing BPI Proctor, you must inform BPI that you will be providing services for Refresh Homes by sending a new Application and BPI Code of Ethics to BPI listing Refresh Homes as one of their BPI Affiliates and applying to join the Proctor Network™. You must list all of your BPI Affiliates on the forms.
Any BPI Proctor (field proctors only) may apply (directly to BPI) to become a BPI-Designee to offer BPI Field Orientations. Please contact Affiliate@bpi.org for more details.
Whether you are self-employed or working for a company, you can participate in the Proctor Network™. If you are a trainer, you can sell your proctoring services to your students, though BPI may prohibit this feature in the future. You can proctor BPI exams for job applicants or even in-house* staff!
*in-house certification testing requires BPI approval; email affiliate@bpi.org for full details
What is Required?
Once you become a BPI Proctor with BPI, you may apply to become part of the Proctor Network™, (please review our Policies and Procedures for full details.)
With these documents in place, we require a video-recorded mock proctoring session. If approved, then you may subscribe to the Proctor Network™ and begin ordering and proctoring tests.
You may create a listing on our website so that potential test-takers may find your services and purchase them instantly with a credit card.
What do I Get?
In addition to the discounted proctor pricing for BPI exams, listings on our website, and credit card processing for client-ordered exams, we aim to provide up-to-date information on changes and requirements from BPI, news and reports of BPI-related issues, automated forms related to BPI proctoring, and other services to streamline the process of becoming a BPI Proctor and proctoring BPI exams.
You get to increase the return on your investment in BPI-related training, certifications, equipment, and experience.
You get to set your own schedule, prices, and locations.
You get more connected to BPI.
