How to Apply

First Become a BPI Proctor

In order to participate in the Proctor Network™ you must first become a BPI Proctor by applying directly to BPI using the BPI Proctor Application form including the Code of Ethics with Refresh Homes listed as a BPI Affiliate.
Additional items to include with the BPI Proctor Application: resume or brief bio, JPG photo (for ID, similar to mug shot with name card; file name changed to "YourName.jpg"), and the Notice of Association (to declare intent to test on behalf of the BPI Affiliate Refresh Homes; please contact us for this required document) The documents listed above must be submitted in one complete email to affiliation@bpi.org Incomplete submittals will not be accepted by BPI.

Then Join the Proctor Network™:

After becoming a BPI Proctor, you may apply to join the Proctor Network™. The Application and Fee below is for participation in the Proctor Network™. Please review BPI's terms and conditions for BPI Proctors as well as the Proctor Network™ Policies and Procedures to determine if you are eligible and interested.

Forms requiring signatures must be signed either:
- digitally using Adobe software or
- manually (print, sign, scan as PDF).

PDF files should be opened with Adobe Acrobat or Adobe's free Reader.

Send the Application

Open the Application with Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat and fill out the form. You may digitally sign the form (or print and scan to PDF format) and email it to us.

Application submittals must be include:

• the Application,
• a brief bio or resumé that relates to building science, and
• JPG color photo of your BPI ID

All BPI Proctors who wish to perform field tests must first be eligible to perform online tests by applying to BPI and attending the required online testing webinar.

Pay the Application Fee

The Proctor Network™ Application Fee must be paid before we will process your Application. PayPal is used to process payments; we do not receive your credit card information. A PayPal account is not required for this payment, but will be required for future payments to and from Refresh Homes. To pay the Proctor Network™ Application Fee, please click the link below:

 

What's Next?

We will review your Application and forward it to BPI for approval. If approved, we will email the Refresh Homes Proctor Agreement to you. Please sign and return this Agreement to us and then you may subscribe to the Proctor Network™ to start enjoying the many benefits.
